Albany Creek GPS Rugby Club Presentation Day
It’s not long before we draw the curtain on another great year of rugby for all teams at the Brumbies.
As well as the AGM & players presentations, this year we are looking to extend the celebration into the afternoon.
Lunch (chicken & sausages sizzle) will be provided for all the players, siblings & parents. Alcohol will be on sale for the adults all afternoon & the canteen will be open. For the kids, we have organized laser skirmish, a jumping castle, an inflatable slide and gladiator duel (which could see some adults taking the challenge for a laugh) for some fun throughout the day.
We know that some teams will have organized their own break ups but would like to invite all teams to use this occasion as the official club break up party. Please feel free to use parts of the main playing field for your team and we encourage parents to bring gazebos/ marquees (just don't peg anything into the field please), chairs and nibbles.
The presentations will be held outdoors again in front of the clubhouse. Every player will receive a trophy and other key individuals will be recognised on the day for their achievements & support throughout the season. We have decided to recognise our sponsors separately and will also hold our election of office bearers at a separate date.
The timetable for the day is:
10:45 am START - Parents should look to drop their boys off with their team on field 5 (furthest from clubhouse) then gather in front of the clubhouse for presentations.
PLEASE ENSURE THE PLAYERS WEAR THEIR CLUB SHIRT ON THE DAY.
The boys will be taken to the presentation area by their coaches/ managers who will be waiting for them on FIELD 5.
We are looking to keep the presentation to a tight schedule and would appreciate if parents could make sure the boys are there on time.

Field 5 Upgrade
Field 5 has been fully resurfaced including irrigation system repair/replacement and rewiring of the field lighting over the summer break ready for the 2014 playing season. Field 4 was resurfaced last year providing a safe and stable playing surface for our kids through 2013. Thank you to Mike Charlton and the Moreton Bay Regional Council.
